Cumbernauld College radio station talks to UKREIGN lead singer Craig Conner

A CUMBERNAULD College student has had the pleasure of meeting UK Indie band UKREIGN’s lead singer, Craig Conner. 

The college’s Film, TV and Radio Production student, Joan Taylor, a radio presenter on Radioactive Scotland, the College’s very own radio station, interviewed guitarist and lead singer late last week.

UKREIGN, a Glasgow band that formed in 2011, have already played many sell out venues such as, the 02 Academy, King Tut's and headlining The West End Festival; there are a well-established band in the Glasgow music circuit.

Twenty-twelve has been a busy year for the band self-recording, producing and filming five videos and they are now embarking on a self-promoted UK tour that includes London, Liverpool, and Manchester.

The interview follows on the from college’s radio station success, which has seen listeners from Australia to Uzbekistan tune in regularly, after only being set up three years ago by college music lecturer Darren Paramasivan.
