THERE are now only four days left until Cumbernauld Shopping Centre is engrossed in party cheer, as the ‘Streets Alive – Cumbernauld Live’ event rolls back into Cumbernauld.

This Saturday (18th August), Cumbernauld Live returns to the car park of Cumbernauld Shopping Centre, with numerous acts set to take to the stage.

Online, a Town Centre Activities spokesperson said: “Live music and dance for everyone, a great way to beat the back to school blues, and of course it's FREE! Come along and join in the fun from 12.30!”

Only a couple of weeks ago, TCA Limited publically announced the Line-up for this year’s event.

The free show will start at 12.30pm on Saturday 18th August, with the acts lined-up including Bags of Rock-Britain’s Got Talent, who are a Scottish Music Industry Nominees and Top in German Charts, alongside Raintown, who come to Cumbernauld fresh from supporting WET WET WET, Paolo Martin, who is once again returning to Cumbernauld, Rihanna Tribute, Anna-Rih 'Only Girl In the World', Ashley Collins, Scottish Music Industry Nominee and returning again to Cumbernauld, pop group STEPZ-90s, local dance troupe Dance in Step and 'Could it be' TAKE THAT - Are the boys back for good and performing in Cumbernauld?

“Following on from last year’s gig, this year sees a mixture of national, regional, local and tribute act,” a spokesperson for Town Centre Activities Ltd told Cumbernauld Media.

“The event organised jointly by Cumbernauld Shopping Centre and Town Centre Activities attempts to put the spotlight on Cumbernauld Town Centre by having a giant stage and a host of quality acts in the heart of the town centre at the Central Way Car Park”, added the Town Centre Activities spokesperson.

Adding to the family fun will be various fair attractions to keep the youngest occupied, and at only £1.00 per ride it should be busy.
